Self Builders prefer SIPs

Self builders were the first to realise the benefits and potential of the SIPS building method, embracing modern and high technology solutions to sustainability.

Individual bespoke buildings are not a problem when constructing with SIPS and the building can easily be adjusted post erection. With most self builders, building their own home is a major investment of time, money and emotion, and it is important the project runs smoothly, with as few surprises as possible.

Our SIPS design and installation service takes considerable risk out of the project. We can take your drawings, convert them into a SIP package and provide you with a quotation. The panels are cut precisely to size, and elements of the building may be constructed off site to ensure an efficient and speedy build while on site.

Once erected, the structure is coated in waterproof paper, and is ready for doors and windows to be fixed. The whole building can be watertight within a few days, and the internal fixing can be done simultaneously with the external finishing.
